Following a childhood spent mostly in dance studios doing ballet, tap and modern jazz, I taught aerobics in various London studios during the 1980s. 
 
I turned to Pilates to combat the stiffness I was getting in my back and shoulders and trained to become a Body Control Pilates instructor. I am qualified to teach Pilates for Osteoporosis being both Body Control Pilates Bone Health and Buff Bones qualified.

As part of the Ehlers-Danlos Society's ECHO programme I have qualified in the Integral Movement Method (IMM) designed for people with Ehlers-Danlos.

 

Other courses include Pilates for Hypermobility, Pilates for the Older Person and Pilates for Golf. 
 
I teach group and one-to-one classes in and around
Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk.

Classes are one hour long in small groups of 12 people maximum. This ensures close supervision where everyone receives individual attention.

Pilates strengthens the whole body whilst encouraging good breathing patterns and correcting body alignment of the joints and muscles to keep them healthy.
